Return and Refund Policy
RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
FULL PAYMENT AND AVAILABILITY
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Availability of our fishing dinghies (Water Tender
9.4) with Mercury outboard motors is subject to the timely return of the vessel by the previous
customer and to conditions beyond the company's control. If the renter does not show up or is not
ready to receive the boat at the agreed time, Bro's Pro Dinghy Fishing Rentals reserves the right
to rent the boat and/or equipment to another customer. Arrive 30 minutes early for check-in
and bring the credit card use to reserve and your driver license.
Please note that the credit card used for this transaction must match the government-issued ID of the individual checking in. If the name on the credit card does not match the ID presented at check-in, the reservation will be subject to cancellation.

RESERVATION COMMITMENT - CANCELLATIONS
Once the reservation is made, the boat and any additional equipment are reserved exclusively for
that customer and will not be available to others. Therefore, if the customer cancels, reschedules,
shortens the rental period, or makes any modification, the full payment remains non-refundable.
Once your reservation is booked and payment is processed, there are no refunds. All
rented equipment must be returned in good condition at the end of the rental. The customer is
responsible for any damage or loss.
AGE REQUIREMENT FOR RENTAL
Boat rentals are restricted to individuals 18 years of age or older with a valid Texas-issued ID. Bro's Pro Dinghy Fishing Rentals reserves the right to verify age and ID before completing any rental. Failure to meet this requirement will result in immediate cancellation of the rental without a refund.
Mandatory Boater Education, Boater Education training is recommended for all boat operators and required for those born on or after September 1, 1993. Present your certificate at check in. If you were Born before September 1, 1993, YOU DO NOT NEED A BOATER'S CERTIFICATION https://tpwd.texas.gov/faq/learning/boater_education/index.phtml#n1
- YOU AGREE YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 AND HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE
- YOU AGREE TO PROVIDE A BOATER'S SAFETY CARD IF YOU WERE BORN
- SEPTEMBER 1, 1993, OR AFTER ACCORDING TO THE STATE REQUIREMENTS TO OPERATE A VESSEL
Additional Information
Exemptions for those born after August 31, 1993, include:
- Boaters who are residents of another state that have passed a TPWD-approved course in another state
- Submitting a reservation and failing to complete/obtain the Texas Boater Safety Card will result in forfeiture of all monies paid and cancellation of the reservation with no future rescheduling.
- It is your responsibility to obtain the card.
FUEL POLICY AND REFUELING - FUEL IS NOT INCLUDED
Fuel must be purchased and paid by the renter. Consumption is calculated based on gallons used per
hour of motor operation. The renter must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when
refueling. If unfamiliar with the proper procedure, it is strongly recommended to consult Bro's Pro
Dinghy Fishing Rentals staff.
VESSEL CAPACITY
Each dinghy has a maximum capacity of two (2) persons or 370 lbs. The total weight allowed,
including people, motor, and gear, must not exceed 439 lbs. It is the renter's responsibility to
comply with these limits for safety reasons.
A valid Texas fishing license is generally required for anyone aged 17 and older to fish in public waters of Texas.
This includes both residents and non-residents.
Consequences of fishing without a license:
- Fines for fishing without a license can be up to $130.00.
- It is a Class C Parks and Wildlife Code misdemeanor.
Fishing Licenses and Packages
Resident Requirements
A resident fishing license is required of any resident who fishes in the public waters of Texas.
Exceptions
A license/package is not required for the following residents:
- a person under 17 years of age.
- a person born before January 1, 1931.
- a person with an intellectual disability fishing as part
of medically approved therapy, under the immediate supervision of personnel approved or employed by a hospital, residence, or school for persons with an intellectual disability. The person with an intellectual disability must carry an authorization identifying the entity supplying the service. This authorization may be in the form of an identification card that contains the name of the sponsoring entity; or - a person with an intellectual disability fishing under the direct supervision of a licensed angler who is either a family member or has permission from the family to take the person fishing. While fishing, the person with an intellectual disability needs a note from a doctor stating the person has been diagnosed as having an intellectual disability.

Online through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), At any TPWD office, and at over 1,500 retailers statewide.
Non-resident Requirements
A non-resident fishing license is required of all non-residents who fish in the public waters of Texas.
Exceptions
Licenses/Packages are not required for:
- non-residents under 17 years of age.
- Louisiana resident 65 years of age or older who possesses a valid Louisiana Recreational Fishing License (includes Senior Fish/Hunt License); or
- Oklahoma resident 65 years of age or older.
CANCELLATIONS AND CREDITS
If the customer cancels before 12:00 PM (Central Time) with at least two (2) days' notice, a Future
Credit equal to the amount paid will be issued. This credit will be valid only within the same
calendar year in which the reservation was made.
NO SHOWS OR LATE CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations made outside the stated period or failure to appear on the rental day will result in
full payment forfeiture. No refunds or credits will be issued.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
The company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule reservations due to adverse weather
conditions (strong winds, heavy rain, thunderstorms). In such cases, a Future Credit will be issued.
- Bad weather with unsafe conditions such as lightning or high winds will result in a manager making the decision 2 hours prior to your start time and could result in a cancellation. We will not send out a fishing boat in unsafe conditions.
- Unfavorable weather such as cloudy, cold or chance of sprinkles is not considered a bad weather day and will not result in a raincheck
SAFETY AND LIABILITY
The renter must comply with all recreational boating laws and regulations. Wearing life jackets at
all times while aboard is mandatory. The company is not responsible for accidents resulting from
improper use of the equipment or boat.
MEDICAL WARNING
Anyone undergoing medical treatment, taking controlled medications, or with conditions that may
affect their physical or mental ability to operate a vessel must consult a physician and obtain
approval before boarding or operating any boat.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG PROHIBITION
Strictly prohibited:
- Consuming or being under the influence of alcohol while operating or navigating.
- Using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or controlled substances.
- Operating a vessel under the influence of any substance affecting judgment, coordination, or
reaction.
Bro's Pro Dinghy Fishing Rentals reserves the right to cancel or deny service without refund if the
customer or guests are suspected or confirmed to be under the influence or medically unfit.
CONDUCT AND NAVIGATION AREA
Reckless maneuvers or conduct endangering occupants or third parties is prohibited. The renter must
remain within the navigation area permitted by Bro's Pro Dinghy Fishing Rentals and follow all
staff instructions.
NO SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is strictly prohibited on any part of the boat, near the outboard motor, and near fuel
tanks.
This rule ensures the safety of all occupants and prevents the risk of fire or explosion.
Violation may result in immediate service cancellation without refund.
SECURITY DEPOSIT AND DAMAGE WAIVER CLAUSE
SECURITY DEPOSIT
The renter must pay a $350.00 security deposit upon signing the rental agreement. This deposit will
be held during the rental period to cover damages, losses, or contractual breaches. If no damages
or breaches are found at the end of the rental, the deposit will be refunded within 7 business days.
GPS TRACKING DEVICE
All boats are equipped with a GPS tracking device. This system is used solely to ensure renter
safety, assist in emergencies, and prevent theft or misuse. It does not represent an invasion of
privacy.
DAMAGE WAIVER (OPTIONAL)
The renter may opt to purchase a Damage Waiver for an additional fee. This waiver limits financial
responsibility for minor accidental damage.
WAIVER CONDITIONS
- Covers minor accidental damage only.
- Does not cover total loss, negligence, vandalism, or misuse.
- This is not an insurance policy.
- May allow a reduced deposit (e.g., $150).
RECOMMENDED POLICY
If the renter does NOT purchase the waiver, the full $350.00 deposit is required.
If the renter DOES purchase the waiver, the deposit may be reduced to $150.00.
RENTER CONFIRMATION

By signing this document, the renter declares they have basic knowledge of recreational boating,
understand safety regulations and agree to comply with all policies and Federal and State laws stated herein.
